The first Sunday of every month is communion Sunday (very rarely does this change).
Participation in the Sacrament of the Lord’s supper is open to all those who profess and evidence true faith in Jesus Christ. This is characterized by the following descriptions according to 1 Corinthians 11:17-34.
Life with God: You must be a believer in Christ who has repented of your sins and trusted fully in His death and resurrection for your salvation. Furthermore, you must possess a desire to joyfully obey God’s word in your life and are coming to the Lord’s supper, not for salvation, but to remember Christ’s sacrifice and receive His grace.
*Those with children should consult Pastor Nick and/or Session regarding your child’s readiness to partake of communion.
Life with God’s People: You must currently be in regular and active fellowship in a true, Biblical church where you are in unity with the pastor(s), leadership, and people of that congregation in order to partake in the Lord’s Supper.
*If you desire to be in fellowship in a congregation we invite you to make an appointment with Pastor Nick to discuss connection to Christ’s Body, the Church.
